SAVE ON HVAC MAINTENANCE WITH OUR SERVICE CONTRACTS

All home heating and cooling systems require periodic maintenance to keep them operating at peak efficiency. Filters need to be changed, belts need to be tightened, and certain parts need to be lubricated.

You can save on your HVAC maintenance costs when you sign up for one of X-Press Energy’s service contracts. We’ll provide your heating or air-conditioning system with the regular care it needs to be dependable and efficient. OUR HEATING AND COOLING CONTRACTS

Residential Preventative Maintenance/Heater Cleaning

A total tune-up will be performed once for the duration of the Service Agreement during regular business hours, as scheduled by our office. Our service technicians will perform these duties:

  • Cleaning of the boiler, furnace flues, and baffles
  • Replacement of the nozzle
  • Clean and check the electrodes
  • Clean and check the smoke pipe
  • Cleaning the flues and baffles
  • Perform a combustion test
  • Ensure maximum working efficiency of the unit
  • Install new oil filter cartridge
  • Vacuum the unit and chimney base as needed
  • Lubrication of motors, bearing, and pumps
  • Inspect the condition of the combustion chamber

Residential Air-Conditioning Tune-Up and Checkup

Prepare for the season with our air conditioning check and start special. The preventative maintenance and safety check with our 12-point inspection service includes the following:

  • Check condensing unit
  • Clean outside coil
  • Clean system voltage and wiring
  • Check level of refrigerant in the system
  • Check inside evaporator coil
  • Check blower fan on inside unit
  • Check air filtration filters
  • Check PVC drain line piping
  • Check condensate pump or drain
  • Check thermostat
  • Check inside airflow
  • Check ductwork/dampers

Replacement of parts or refrigerant would be an additional charge as necessary.

Residential Heater Maintenance/Service Contract Agreement

Emergency Service — 365 days per year, 24 hours a day.

This service includes a yearly cleaning and parts/labor coverage on all included listed items below. A total tune-up will be performed once for the duration of the Service Agreement during regular business hours, as scheduled by our office. Our service technicians will perform these duties:

  • Cleaning the flues and baffles
  • Perform a combustion test
  • Ensure maximum working efficiency of the unit
  • Install new oil filter cartridge

  • Lubrication of motors, bearing, and pumps
  • Inspect the condition of the combustion chamber

Replacement or Repair of the Following Parts

This contract does not cover the following: commercial units beyond the normal residential size, plumbing or pipework, e.g. low water cut-offs, water feed valves, expansion tanks, vent valves, manual valves, zone valves, (powerheads or bodies), bleeding of radiators, water leaks, obsolete parts, hot water coils or sheet metal repairs.

TERMS OF MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

Customer must be on automatic delivery.

  • Service agreements are valid on an annual basis.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to schedule a maintenance appointment. In the event that this is not performed prior to the contract termination date, there is no pro-rating or extension of the contract.
  • This contract is subject to inspection and approval of equipment.
  • Any repairs required to make equipment in an acceptable condition are excluded and will be charged separately.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to make the heating system accessible for service.
  • This contract does not cover acts of God, fire, damage, power surges, frozen pipes, flooding, or other water damage, etc.
  • This contract only covers normal wear and tear on the equipment.
  • Xpress Energy Co will not be liable for service work done by other companies.
  • Xpress Energy Co assumes no responsibility for heating failure or damages when the house or building is unoccupied.
  • Work performed by anyone else during the contracted period will void this contract.
  • At the time of preventative maintenance inspection, the low water cut-off on steam systems will be flushed, but no responsibility will be assumed for failure of this control. The air filters on warm air units will also be checked.
  • Periodic cleaning or replacement of air filters is the responsibility of the owner.
  • Repairs involving labor and parts not included in this plan will be billed at our standard rate. Upon request, we will notify the customer of the estimated charges prior to making such repairs.
  • Cancellation of the contract must be made in writing.
  • If customer buys oil from another supplier, contract may be voided
